We invite you to a meet the author session with Fr. Adam Boniecki.
"A received call" is collection of the most important, timeless texts of Fr. Boniecki from recent years, published in "Tygodnik Powszechny".
Fr. Adam Boniecki is the senior editor of Tygodnik Powszechny. In the years 1964-1972 he was an editor of "Tygodnik Powszechny" and an academic priest in Krakow at the church of St. Anne. In 1972, he went to France for two years to study at the Catholic Institute. In 1979, at the invitation of Pope John Paul II, he went to Rome and on the recommendation of the Pope organized the editorial office of the Polish edition of L'Osservatore Romano. He managed it for 11 years. In 1991 he returned to Poland, to the editorial office of "Tygodnik" and from 1999 to 2011 he was the editor-in-chief. He is currently retired and lives in a religious house in Warsaw. He is the author of 14 books, including "Conversations of unfinished people", "Calendar of life of Karol Wojtyła", "Roman notebook", "Understanding the Pope (talks about Encyclicals with Katarzyna Kolenda-Zaleska)", "Vademecum", "Better smoke than witches", "No smoking".
