The town hall is situated at 13 Wolności [Freedom] Square in Szczecinek. You can reach it by following Jana Pawła II Avenue and turning onto 1-go Maja Street towards the promenade. Behind the town hall there is a large free car park.
The town hall was built according to neo-Gothic style, with neo-Romanesque elements. The town hall of Szczecinek was constructed in 1852. The date of its construction and the coat of arms of the town are inscribed on a plate placed on the town hall tower. The plate is situated above the window on the first floor. The town hall has a small courtyard with a glass roof. In the conference room there are beautiful stained glass windows whose author was a Berlin-based artist Bosh. One of the walls of the town hall features a commemorative plaque in memory of the flood of 1888. It was placed at the exact height that was reached by the water at the time. You can enter the building during the opening time of the Municipal Office. Every day at noon an anthem is played from the clock tower.
