“Avana” Ropes Course is located in a forest on Rolna [Agricultural] Street, 200 m from the junction of Piłsudskiego Street and Słupska Street. On Rolna Street, there is a car park with 20 passenger car spaces.
Avana is situated at the verge of a forest by the road leading to Góra Chełmska. It has an area of 1 ha. It is appropriate for people of all ages who love to spend their free time in an active way and for those who seek adventure. The main attraction in the ropes course is going through obstacles which are located in the trees, in some places even 12 meters above the ground. There are 5 courses of different levels of difficulty, adjusted to participants’ age. There is also a training course which runs 0,5 m above the ground, a course for kids (called Panda) 2,5 m high, a medium course (Koala) 6 m high, and a high course (Grizzly) 12 m high, which ends with a 130 m traverse and the Big Swing, jump from 12 m on a pendulum rope swing. Each person who comes to the park, undergoes special training on how to move along the obstacles in the trees. All participants are given appropriate equipment: helmets and belays.
On Saturdays, in the middle of every month between 21.00-2.00, the park organises the so called “night courses” during which participants can bake sausages in fire. The price includes an unlimited access to the courses and jumps.
Organised groups can make reservations. The park also holds birthday parties for children.
