The course is located among forests, less than 7 km from Wałcz, close (2 km) from the village of Kłębowiec. To get there from Wałcz, take the road No. 163 (towards Kołobrzeg), turn towards Rudnica at the crossroads in Kłębowiec.
The Ropes Course in Rudnica is the largest of its kind in Poland. The very location - among old trees, by the Dobrzyca River, boosts the attractiveness of the course, which expands every year by adding new routes and elements to climb. The total length of the routes has already exceeded 1200 m. Currently, the course has already had seven varied routes with more than eighty elements, called obstacles, of varying difficulty. There are, among other things, aerial rope slides, three-rope bridges , a Burmese bridge, an Indian and Tarzan jump, slide downhill on a trapeze, malicious ropes, and more surprises to bewilder You and to hinder the passage. For children, as well as climbing enthusiasts with weaker stamina, there is a mini rope course with the obstacles much easier to overcome.
There are different types of entrance tickets to the course. You can buy a ticket for crossing the entire course, a single route or selected routes. So You can choose an option tailored to your stamina and time. Children under thirteen years of age may enter the course and enjoy its attractions only when accompanied by an adult, while older youth, before eighteen years of age, are allowed to use the park after presenting the written permission of parents or legal guardians. These principles are applied rigorously, and the attention to safety of the users of the course is on a very high level.
Full security is provided, among others, by steel cables of 7 tons of strength. All the elements responsible for safety at height are constructed according to the standards intended for lifts, rope fastening clamps are made of special hardened steel. The equipment that must be rented if You want to enter the course includes a special harness, snap hooks with automatic and easy-to-use lock, longes (special safety belts) with a certificate of endurance, helmets, slide pulleys adapted to steel cables. This all provides full security to any user of the course. Everyone before entering the route must participate in training and during passing the route they are observed by instructors who, if necessary, will advise what to do or provide assistance.
There are also special attractions provided, such as night-crossing the course only for groups, which includes also a bonfire and preparing a place to put a tent. Bonfire and a barbeque can be organised also during the day. There is also a 'super offer' - canoeing down the river Dobrzyca accompanied by climbing in the course, and ended with a campfire.
