The Culture Centre in Połczyn-Zdrój is a local cultural institution and is subject to the Commune of Połczyn-Zdrój. The Culture Centre operates in several places, not only in the rooms of the castle, but also in the community centre, rural clubs, library and Goplana Cinema.
The prime statutory object is cultural activity. The centre organises events, exhibitions, shows. The Centre is also involved in handling tourism, including organising hiking, cycling and coach trips. The Centre offers fitness and aerobics classes, as well as a stained glass course. 'The Figielek' children's theatre, a break-dance group, 'The Cantus' mixed chamber choir, 'The Plastusie' Plastic Club, an Amateur Artist Club, 'The Omen' Dance Club, 'The Figiel' Dance Theatre operate in the Centre. Animators working in this institution organise art classes for adults and dance classes for adults.
The Julian Tuwim Public Library also operates in the Centre. The library is located in the castle. In addition to the library, the Castle Gallery is run in the castle. It hosts various exhibitions and events, and in the lobby You can see a permanent exhibition of postcards and photographs of Połczyn-Zdrój. Films and works of local artists can be watched in the castle cellars. The Centre also organises cultural and entertainment events in the Zdrojowy amphitheatre located in the Zdrojowy Park. The amphitheatre is roofed and can accommodate 2,500 people. The Cinema also works as a part of the Centre. It features a beautiful hall with 279 seats. In addition to film screenings, conferences, performances and workshops are also held there.
