The Municipal Stadium is in Sławno - a small town in the eastern part of Zachodniopomorskie [West Pomerania] Province. It is located in the park at the Municipal Middle School No. 1 in Sławno, a short distance from the town centre. Access to the stadium is possible from Jedności Narodowej Street. After passing through the Koszalin Gate, turn left while walking from the town centre. When you cross the bridge over the town canal, you reach the park. Pass a playground and go ahead towards the large building of the Municipal Middle School. The stadium is on the left side of the building, behind the sports hall. The stadium can also be reached from other directions, e.g. from Artura Grottgera Street, or from Augusta Cieszkowskiego Street. Access to the hall is possible from the Sławno Community Centre (from Cieszkowskiego Street).
The stadium is administered by the Sports and Recreation Centre in Sławno. Football, P.E. classes, athletics competitions, and sports and recreation events are held there. It is not totally public - the terms and regulations of the Recreation and Sports Centre set out detailed rules of using the stadium. You can read in the terms and regulations that: 'The ones that are allowed to stay at use the equipment of the stadium are: the people participating in P.E. classes accompanied by a teacher, the people that have signed the agreement to rent the sports stadium, the people having trainings or extra sports and recreational classes, the holders of a valid pass or other proof entitling you to be in the facility'. However, spectators are obliged to occupy seats in the stands. The capacity is 700 people. The stadium is equipped with a full-size court and a four-path speedway track.A number of sporting events are held at the stadium. The following events take place there: the Athletic Thursdays, the Athletics Meetings, the Municipality of Sławno Championship in high jumping, the Fragmented Marathon, the Breakfast Racing, football matches. An immensely popular event among the locals of Sławno is, among other things, 'the Fragmented Marathon', an event organised on every Saturday of September and October every Saturday, under the slogan of 'I run, mum runs, dad runs'. Sports and Recreation Centre, to promote physical activity, invites parents with children to the morning for health. However, 'Breakfast Races' are highly popular in the summer, also organised on Saturdays. Each family member chooses a distance to run in accordance with the rules. You should run a recreational pace; so that everyone, both small one and big one, was able to finish the run.The stadium is located in the beautiful surroundings in the town park. A large modern sports hall is behind the stadium. You can park your car near the sports hall.
