The facility is in the Łękno district, in a beautiful area near the city center. Access by public transport is provided by tram lines 1 and 9 (Lodogryf stop). By car, you can reach the city center by taking Wojska Polskiego towards Głębokie. There are parking spaces near the courts.
Tennis courts were built on this site before the Second World War as a complex of eleven open courts with a brick surface. The main point of the facility to this day has remained the central court with stands for approx. 600 spectators. During the war, the courts were partially destroyed, the area was cleaned up in 1948 (although the first match was played here in June 1946), and in 1955 a major renovation was carried out. In the 1960s, Davis Cup matches were held here several times. Since 1993, the most prestigious tennis tournament in Poland, the ATP - PEKAO Open, has been held here every year. The Szczecin Tennis Club is a user of the courts daily. In 1963, Lodogryf was opened in the courts, for many years the only artificial ice rink in Szczecin. Lodogryf has not been used for several years.
