The Świdwin Community Centre is located in the castle of Świdwin.
The Świdwin Community Centre was founded in 1968. It includes the Cultural Centre, the Jan Śpiewak Public Library, the Tourist Information Centre and the Świdwin Brass Band. The Świdwin Community Centre is a unit of local government and is subject to the Town of Świdwin. The main task of this unit is to popularise culture and organise events. The centre organises, among other things, competitions of recitation, theatre reviews, the Vilnius Fair - Kaziuki, Days of Borderland Culture, "the Battle for a Cow" and the National Knight Tournament. 'The Sonores' Chamber Choir of Świdwin operated at the centre. The Centre has, among other things, a large auditorium with facilities, exhibition showroom and smaller rooms for private events. Open-air shows are often held in the summertime in the courtyard of the castle or on its grounds. Museum chambers are in the northern wing of the castle. You can see an exhibition dedicated to one of the most prominent people from Świdwin - German scientist and politician Rudolf Virchow. Books, documents, postcards, newspapers, stamps and more memorabilia are among the exhibits. Everyday objects not currently used, i.e. an old sewing machine, a telephone exchange, oil lamps, agricultural machinery, weapons and old radios are exhibited in another room. The knights of Świdwin, or the Infantry Troop of Michael von Manteuffel are active at the castle. Their work aims to recreate the medieval customs.
