The Documentation Center of the History of Goleniów is located at Pocztowa 2, in the central part of the town of Goleniów. About 50 m to the east there is the Post Office 001. Access is possible by car from Konstytucji 3 Maja Street or by local public transport.
The Documentation Center of the History of the Goleniów Region has its seat in a burgher tenement house dated back to 1864, which is popularly known as the Yellow House.
The center is relatively young, it was opened in 2008, on the 90th anniversary of Regaining Independence, the 740th granting city rights and the Goleniów Year of Culture.
Documents on the history of Goleniów are collected and processed in the center. This is done by two laboratories: historical and contemporary information. Apart from documents, other relics of the past are also collected. Scenarios are also developed and lessons in regional history are conducted.
The museum is open all year round, it is open on weekdays.
