The Cultural Centre in Chojna is located in the historic medieval town hall on Konstytucji 3 Maja Square.
The motto of the instructors and all the employees of the Cultural Centre in Chojna is to shape themselves and their surroundings through art. It is a place where everyone, both young and a bit older, can delve into the world of fantasy. The CC in Chojna also has the principle that every child has a talent. You only need to guide them appropriately, indicate the correct path that will allow them to combine development with great fun.
The CC in Chojna popularises culture in the region by cultural education. The residents can therefore actively participate in events related to art seen from various points of view. There are: theatre, rhythm, recreational, artistic, musical and photographic workshops. Each of them exposes participants to the stimuli of a different kind, to different art and aesthetics. There is something for the lovers of motion, wildlife, as well as manual activities, art. In addition, the Private Music Centre 'Bel-Canto' has been operating there since 1992. Everyone, regardless of age, can develop musically in the following groups: the piano, the guitar, the accordion and electronic musical instruments.
Since not everyone can afford to get to Chojna, the centre oversees the work of rural and community centres. In all the places associated with CC in Chojna, it is the development of passion and individual talents that is the most important. Creativity, independence and ability to work in a group are formed in children. Adults are given the opportunity to get away from everyday responsibilities, to make hidden or previously inaccessible dreams come true.
The CC in Chojna cooperates with the European Union, integration events and workshops within the framework of EU projects are held in the commune. In addition to the events on an international scale, there are also local events, various shows and contests.
