The first temple was built in Dziwnów at the end of the 19th century. The church was damaged during World War II and demolished in the 1950s. After 1945, services were held at the sea rescue station. In the 1970s, construction of a church was started on the site of the sea rescue station, according to the design of Eng. Otto Odon. The shape of the temple resembles a boat.
In the presbytery there is a mosaic depicting the Holy Family. A gold and silver tabernacle was placed under the mosaic. In the side altar there is a wooden cross with a figure of Christ, flanked by sculptures of Our Lady of Sorrows and St. John. Next to it, there are statues of Our Lady of Fatima and the patron saint of the temple. Above the entrance to the temple there is a choir gallery with an organ. The matroneum also runs along the southern wall. Opposite it, on the wall, there is the Way of the Cross. Fourteen stations were made in the sgrafitto technique. The author of mosaics and sgrafitto is Kazimierz Bieńkowski. The church also has a wooden baptismal font with a cover.
