The church of the Pentecostal Church "Bethany" is located at Fr. Piotra Wawrzyniaka 7 in Szczecin.
The "Bethany" church of the Pentecostal Church in Szczecin was established in the spring of 1946, when a few people came from the eastern territories of the Second Polish Republic, who had previously been members of the Pentecostal church in Vilnius. They were, among others Wanda Kowalczykowa with her mother and children as well as Matylda and Aleksander Rodkiewicz. The name "Bethany" has a historical character, as it refers to the name of the German diaconal center located at Wawrzyniaka. The conducted missions and evangelization enabled the creation of independent congregations in Gryfino, Goleniów, Police, Pyrzyce and the "Betezda" congregation on the right bank of Szczecin. "Bethany" also contributed to the establishment of the "Betezda" congregation in Gorzów Wielkopolski. "Bethany" - both before and now, is one of the most numerous churches of the Pentecostal Church in Poland. This congregation belongs to the West-Greater Poland district of Pentecostal churches in the Republic of Poland.
