The facility is located at the intersection of Narutowicza and Kusocińskiego Streets, in the immediate vicinity of the city center as well as the railway and bus stations, from where you can get to the hall by following Dworcowa Street, and then 3 Maja to Narutowicza. Access is also possible by public transport.
The hall was built in 1900 as a horse-riding hall of Prussian artillery regiments. Originally, it had an asphalt surface and was not equipped with sanitary facilities or heating. Destroyed during the Second World War, it was renovated several times in the post-war years, it owes its present appearance to the renovation from 1970 to 71, and the last reconstruction took place in 1995. Currently, there are three rooms in the hall, including the largest one, 20 x 33 m, equipped with a full-size volleyball court, basketball training baskets and handball goals with an audience of approx. 100 people. There is also a 20 x 33 m gymnastics hall with full equipment for this sport, as well as a smaller fencing room with eight paths, gymnastic wall bars and mirrors. This room has small stands for about 50 people. It is worth emphasizing that in addition to sports events, fairs and trade events often take place in the hall, which has become a traditional function of this place. Until the Provincial House of Sports was built, it was also the only sports hall in Szczecin.
