The Arkonka swimming area is located at Spacerowa Street in the Arkoński Forest Park, close to other sports facilities, the cycling track and the Arkonia stadium. Access by public transport is provided by bus line 80 (Spacerowa and Arkonia Stadium Stops) and tram lines 3 and 10 (Arkoński Forest terminus), as well as 1 and 9 (Spacerowa stop). By car, the easiest way to reach the city center is via Wojska Polskiego to the north, turning into Spacerowa, where the facility is located. There is a parking lot for 200 cars next to the swimming pool.

The bathing area was established at the beginning of the 20th century where the today's Arkonka is. In the past, there was a lake on the shore of which there was a water mill. The swimming complex has been thoroughly rebuilt in recent years; its reopening took place in 2014. From now on, it is the most modern swimming area in Szczecin. Now, the facility includes four swimming pools with a depth of 40 to 180 cm. There are also 3 slides, foot massage points, geysers, water-firing toys, a fountain throwing water up to 15 m high and an artificial river 59 m long. Around the pools there are tennis and badminton courts, volleyball courts and an artificial beach. There is also a skatepark that operates from spring to autumn, where in the winter months there is an ice rink. The whole building is in a fenced area of 7 ha, the total area of the pools is 8012 m2. There are 100 bicycle stands at ticket offices.
