Pałac Młynarza is located in the centre of Koszalin, on 37/39 Młyńska Street. It is best to leave your car in a car park on the nearby Podgrodzie Street.
The first mill was built in this place in the 13th century in connection with granting a town charter to Koszalin in 1266. The complex survived until a fire of the town in 1601. In the years 1838-1842, the present buildings were erected. A new mill was equipped with modern technical devices and a water turbine brought there from the United States, mounted in 1878. In the years 1890-1897, Pałac Młynarza was built next to the mill. After the Second World War, the Palace was a seat of the state-owned Grain Plants. Since 1991, the building has been housing a museum.
