The Tourist and Cultural Information Center is in a historic gothic chapel, which is part of the no longer existing Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary from the turn of the 12th / 14th century. The center is located next to the Police Rynek bus stop, where public transport buses no. 101, 102, 103, 106, 109, 110, 111 and the Local Government, Allotment and Beach lines stop. It is in the vicinity of the Sedina Fountain, on Chrobry Square, in the Old Town, by provincial road No. 114.
The Tourist and Cultural Information Center in Police was established in 2010. The seat of the center is a historic Gothic chapel, a remnant of the now defunct St. Mary's Church in the Old Market Square, at Chrobry Square. The choice of the place was made by the Municipal Cultural Center in Police, to which CITiK reports directly. In the Center, we can obtain all the information on tourism, events, and cultural activities in the Police Commune. This place also serves as a souvenir shop at the Police Land. You can buy here maps, plans, key rings, mugs, pens, as well as T-shirts and caps with elements characteristic of Police. You can also buy books describing the history of Police and neighboring towns (e.g., "Post-war history of Police", "Tanowo yesterday and today" by Jan Matura) or the memories of former German inhabitants of this city (e.g., "Quicksands", memories of Hilde Kliche, former resident of Jasenitz - Jasienica). CITiK is open from Tuesday to Sunday at the headquarters in the Old Town.
Information is provided in Polish, English, and German.
